SonicSolutions Algae Control will be launching WaterIQ Technologies’ new product line at WEFTEC 2021 in Chicago next week
Northampton, MA – October 2021
SonicSolutions Algae Control LLC, based in Northampton, MA is pleased to announce its new strategic partnership with WaterIQ Technologies and the launch of the next generation of ultrasound technology designed and manufactured by WaterIQ Technologis at WEFTEC 2021 in Chicago next week. SonicSolutions Algae Control (SSAC), has been promoting non-chemical algae control with leading ultrasound products since 2003, and is excited about what this new partnership will mean for its customers and the industry.
WaterIQ Technologies, led by innovator, Lawrence Field, brings a new vision in helping the world restore water ecosystems to their natural state, and reduce the need to use harsh chemicals for algae control and biofilm prevention.
“I am proud that WaterIQ Technologies represents fresh thinking and the marriage of the best technical and business strategies to solve algae and biofilm problems plaguing the world’s water. I am excited about combining with SonicSolutions Algae Control to continue to build on existing relationships with quality customers while prioritizing technological innovation and next generation solution”, says Lawrence Field, CEO, WaterIQ Technologies.
Ultrasound technology has been an option for non-chemical algae control since the late 1990’s, and has quickly grown in popularity among municipalities, drinking water and recreation reservoirs, golf courses, wineries and many more industries and water facilities. The technology has been a proven method time and time again all over the world, as an alternative to using chemicals to treat the algae in the water.
Assisted by SSAC CTO, George Hutchinson, WaterIQ Technologies’ next generation of ultrasound products are the most robust, reliable, and smart ultrasound units available today. With its onboard IoT and telemetry option, users can remotely monitor their ultrasound systems, as well as check the quality of the water using remote WQM (Water Quality Monitoring), through a cloud based dashboard, available at their fingertips via smartphone or computer.
Both WaterIQ Technologies and SSAC will jointly launch the new ultrasound products – The WaterIQ Technologies Sentinel AIQ™, Pulsar 4000™, Pulsar 3000™ and BioPulse 1000™ – at the upcoming WEFTEC 2021 trade show in Chicago (www.weftec.org). Visitors will get a first glance of the latest in ultrasound technology designed to help to control their algae in lagoons and basins, and prevent biofilm buildup in WWTP, clarifiers and more. WaterIQ Technologies will be present with SSAC at booth number 1520 in the South Hall of McCormick Place, Monday October 18th through Wednesday, October 20th.
Ultrasound technology for non-chemical algae control works in harmony with aquatic wildlife (fish and animals), aquatic plants, bio-solids and planktonic organisms other than algae. The ultrasound device can also prevent biofilm formation on cleaned surfaces near the device and remain free of biofilm for longer periods of time after being initially cleaned.
